Keith Durflinger is a Los Angeles-area photographer who specializes in capturing life’s moments. As an award-winning photojournalist, his camera has captured breaking news, defining events, sports finals, concerts and lifestyle stories. In addition, Keith photographs weddings, portraits, family events, nature and wildlife.

He spent nearly 30 years as a photographer and videographer with the Southern California News Group and its publications: the Pasadena Star-News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Whittier Daily News, Los Angeles Daily News and Orange County Register.

Keith's work has appeared locally, nationally and internationally. His talent has brought him to the World Series, Southern California fires, flooding in central California, Rose Parades and Rose Bowls, Democrat and Republican conventions, as well as local news and sporting events.

As a photojournalist, one is expected to produce the highest standards of work in all aspects of photography that includes portraits, weddings, commercial products and travel.

Keith is passionate about capturing life as it is and it shows in his work. Everything is photogenic if you look at it with the right light, angle and composition.

Keith currently teaches photography for the city of Whittier and has taught photojournalism at Rio Hondo College in Whittier.
