"Driven by a passion to communicate and fueled with vision and creativity. The Art Source at REACH was developed and has grown over the years to provide the best quality support for our artists and their own specific individual needs. Encouragement to express themselves and use their own style and abilities through different mediums is key for their independence.
In our state of the art studio located on 12000 Santa Fe Springs Rd, Santa Fe Springs, we are dedicated in offering a wide range of opportunity to teach the history of art, different techniques and the use of all art related materials.
Today, over 50 of REACH consumers attend the class. We provide 2 classes per-day, morning and afternoon, Mon-Thur. Classes are taught by Nicolette Rhodes, Jonathan Reyes and Daisy De La Torre.

"It all started when I was first introduced to the amazing Gourd Banjos created by instrument builder Bob Thornburg. I thought they were the most amazing things ever! They were rustic and elegant at the same time. An instrument to play or a piece of art you could hang on your wall. I thought that one day I would try my hand at making one. Well one thing led to another and somewhere on the road to making my own gourd banjo I stumbled across something entirely diff
erent and surprising, Cigar Box Guitars! What initially started out as an experiment that was supposed to take me down the road to gourd banjos has become an amazing journey to a whole new destination. Cigar Box Guitars combine all the things I love about musical instruments. They can be rustic and old timey looking, sleek and refined, or any combination in between. They are fun and can be easy to play. They’re a great instrument for a beginner, or a fun addition to a pro player’s arsenal. I've been making them for a while now and am having a great time doing it! Many of my instruments have been "sent out into the world" and I'm looking to spread the word where ever I can. I’ve posted on this website many pictures of the work I've been doing. Check them out and let me know what you think! These instruments sound great, are cool looking, and super fun to play. I love them and I think you will too! While temporarily taking a back seat to Cigar Box Guitars, the Gourd Banjo has not been forgotten in my workshop! The groundwork has been laid and foundations have been set in place. If you look closely and have a keen eye you might catch glimpses of what’s to come in the photos of my workshop! The journey continues…"

"Gladys Soto Hernandez was born in Tepic, Nayarit Mexico and raised in Boyle Heights, CA. She is a self-Taught artist who as a child dreamed of becoming a cartoonist and fashion designer. Around the age of 11- 13 she would turn any piece of fabric into Barbie clothing or Hair accessories. During her teen years she began to focus on drawing cartoon characters and wedding dresses. In 1998 she went to college and decided to put her artistic imagination on hold. In September 2015 she decided to start drawing again. Her Art shifted into what inspired her the most, (MEXICO). She then began to think how great her drawings would look on shirts, and learned to silk screen. In November 2015 she had the opportunity to expose her new ideas, and was part of the Boyle Heights Farmers Market Day of the Dead Event. She took a couple shirts with her designs and found out that everyone loved them. She then was inspired to show her passion of art through Hand made Jewelry, Folk Art, Home Decor, and Apparel. Most of her creations are inspired by Frida Kahlo, Posadas, and the Mexican celebration Dia De Los Muertos. With the support of her Mother and daughters, she attends many events and continues to share her art. G. Soto takes pride in all her work, and does not keep anything in stock. She usually presents one of a kind items in pop up shops or events. The items shown on this site are made to order, and usually take 5 to 10 days to make depending on the item. She is also open to any ideas and loves to work on custom orders. All her work is priced decently as her focus is on sharing her art rather than making a profit."

"Belly BombZ, a Korean Inspired wing & slider concept, started off as a playful conversation among a few friends. Slowly building a Sunday following at a farmer's market in Long Beach, requests for us to start a gourmet food truck could not be denied any longer, and as of September 2012, Belly BombZ rolled out their very first gourmet food truck, debuting in the heart of Cerritos, and "#droppinbombz" all over LA and Orange County. Through all the blood, sweat, tears, kitchen logistics, engine problems, parking tickets, and towing that were to follow, Belly Bombz kept striving to be up there with some of the best gourmet food trucks LA county had to offer, running with our philosophy of always making sauces from scratch and cooking our food to order. In May of 2013, Belly BombZ rolled out with version 2.0: a bad ass beast of a machine that can withstand the heavy flow of customers at huge events. In 2014, Belly BombZ brings you, its very first brick and mortar establishment! Here is where we offer you our extended menu, good music, craft brew, and Korean spirits. Oh, and don't forget sports... Gotta have the sports. Kick back. Relax. Eat wings. Drink beer. Watch sports. Make friends. Love life. Drop BombZ!"

"It all began in Mexico City, when an apparition of the Virgin Mary came to a man named Juan Diego as he was walking by the Hill of Tepeyac. The location is visited by millions of people every year and one of the most popular Catholic pilgrimage sites—and, as they say, the rest is history. Although many people may be unfamiliar with it, the name “Tepeyac” is well-known amongst Mexicans and Mexican-Americans, and invokes a sense of cultural heritage, says Duran. Those things, combined with the physical and ethnic landscape of LA, made the name a natural fit. In honor of his heritage and his grandfather’s devotion to the Virgin Mary, Duran named his restaurant in the City of Industry “Tepeyac.” Clearly, the name holds a lot of history with Duran. He opened Tepeyac Restaurant & Tequila Sports Bar on May 5, 2011—Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican holiday that is more synonymous with celebrating Mexican-American culture than its original historical basis. Like his grandfather’s restaurants, Tepeyac is a family-run business. Both his mother, Lolita (Rojas’ daughter), and his sister, Debbie, run different factions of the business. “My mother handles the back office for me,” says Duran. “My sister, our director of marketing and catering, handles our Santa Fe Springs location. She’s also in charge of the catering, which we’re putting a big emphasis on right now.”"
