"The Renaissance Faire is my favorite place in the entire world! I’m a huge fan of all things nerdy. Some of my favorites are Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Twin Peaks, Disney(land), Marvel/DC... all of it. I made the smartest life decision ever and got an art degree and, like most people our age, (and) am drowning in student debt! I watch too much YouTube and am in love with The Great British Baking Show. I think that’s pretty much it."
"I think a lot of what I do and create goes back to my love of art. My Mom, who is also an artist, has a pretty sweet collection of art history books and I grew up looking at them all the time. Some of my biggest inspirations are Renaissance art, the Pre-Raphaelites, and Art Nouveau. These categories have worked based on Greek Mythology & folklore, such as Alexandre Cabanel’s “The Birth of Venus” and “Hylas and the Nymphs” by John William Waterhouse."
"What's your nerdy addiction at the moment or favorite thing to do to pass the time."
"I am horrifically addicted to Animal Crossing. Seriously. I started playing it when New Horizons came out in April 2020 during the lockdown and it’s literally the only thing I did for MONTHS. I mean, I was working on a couple of murals at that time as well, but the second I would get home it was straight to Animal Crossing. Don’t ask me how many hours I’ve wasted on this game because it's honestly just, like, a stupid amount.
Aside from that I’m usually catching up on or rewatching nerdy shows like The Boys, The Mandalorian, Twin Peaks, The Last Airbender, anything Marvel is pumping out, and all that awesome crap. Like the rest of the entire world, I have currently been obsessing over Squid Game!"
