⚡️ Dave and Mike Silvestri will be a part of SFS Art Fest 2024: "The Silvestri Brothers – Dave and Mike Silvestri both self- taught award-winning artists born and based out of Los Angeles, California. Their art journey started individually in 2004 working predominantly in mixed media and featured in a variety of group and solo shows in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Through their experimentation with a variety of mediums they found oil-based ink as their preferred medium and recently decided to work together using methods and techniques they developed over the years. They are influenced by the style and techniques of abstract expressionist painters such as Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler and Grace Hartigan and by the vibrant color work of Latin artists such as Rufino Tamayo, Vladimir Cora and Frank Romero. The Silvestri Brothers current work self-described as “Maximum Fine Art” is focused on expressing the power of vivid colors, elegant contrasts and texture. 📸 Arie Korporaal will be a part of SFS Art Fest 2024: "My interest in photography began a number of years ago when part of my job at the US Bureau of Commercial Fisheries (now the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) was taking photographs of the different fish species we were studying. Not long after, my experiences in the lab included macro and micro photographs of organisms that were part of a research project. Today my interests lie in taking photographs of small objects including flowers, rocks and minerals, and very small animals.
